Reliability Engineer (m/f/d)
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Design, develop and improve software to increase reliability and automation of platforms and tools, including contributions to existing open source projects
  • Responsibility to maintain or support the operation of highly available, redundant and complex systems
  • Design and maintain robust and scalable observability solutions (monitoring, logging, tracing) for complex architectures
  • Develop innovative ideas to increase fault tolerance and stability of internal and external services
  • Be an active part of pushing the organization and customers towards a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) mindset
     
Your profile:
 
  • At least 3 years of experience in software development or contributions to open source projects
  • Strong proficiency in different programming languages (e.g. Python, Go, Ruby, Java, C++, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of Linux, networking and complex distributed systems
  • Experience with automation tooling (CI/CD systems, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, SaltStack, etc.)
  • Experience with cloud technologies (OpenStack, AWS, Kubernetes, Prometheus, ELK-Stack, Jaeger, etc.)
  • Comfortable with software engineering tools and concepts
  • Fluent German and English, spoken and written
